I believe that this experience and journey with WordGod is exceptionally valuable in my whole life. The course does not only help me to get a satisfying grade in the official Toefl test, the skills I've learned in WordGod would also help me in my career and my future in general. I will cherish this experience with WordGod forever. 

When I stepped into WordGod on the first day, I had no clue what is Toefl like. I'm unaware of the testing modes, or the skills required. Fear engulfed my confidence, and I did not know what to do. I was nervous that I won't be able to earn a high score to apply for my dream universities and colleges. This is a life-determining situation, and I was scared. To be honest, I thought cram schools were useless ever since elementary school. I seldom go to cram schools, and I didn’t plan to go to cram schools in high school, either. However, because Toefl was a brand system to my mind, I reluctantly decided to attend cram school.

I did a model test on the first day, and I was pale. Reading questions tangled in my brain, like a thousand ropes tying together with no chance to untie it. I think and think, read and read, but my work seems to be in vain. The listening test was stressful, as well. I was grasping my pencil, sweating in the cold room, trying to get hold of every piece of information I heard from the conversations and passage. Maybe because of luck, I got full marks on the listening section, but the reading section wasn’t looking so good. 

After the official applications for the classes and programs, I started to go to WordGod almost everyday during the summer holidays. During classes, I met different teachers and students. I learn new things from them every single day. Teachers would often give us useful tips, and other students' answers shape my own response. I was feeling more and more confident about myself. I enjoy the class mode: the teachers do not only teach, but they also discuss with us, either one-on-one or with the whole class. These interactions between teachers and students are amazing, and not a lot of cram schools have that kind of specialty or element. In addition, we did a lot of practice in class, which helped me a lot. I was very grateful for the courses. If I did not attend these courses, I do not think I would have had the confidence to take the official Toefl test. 

On the test day, I wasn't scared. Of course, I am still a little bit nervous. However, because I know that the courses and my own studying time has prepared me well. I have nothing to fear. All I have to do is be confident and be careful about everything I write, read, speak and listen. I need full concentration. When the speaking test starts, I panicked because the students' voices are much louder than I expected. Therefore, I did not do so well in the speaking section. But other than that, I was satisfied. I couldn't believe what I saw when I get my Toefl score. Without WordGod, this journey of fighting the Toefl monster would not be completed.
